The Notebenders Big Band is the brainchild of our patron and inspiration, Sir, Andy Hamilton CBE.

Band members hail from all sections of the diverse and dynamic communities of the City of Birmingham and the wider West Midlands region. They are a true representation of crossing and breaking down barriers through music.

Paying tribute to the great Jazz artists - the CD includes the following numbers: At Last, Night and Day, Blue Bosa, My baby just cares for me, Moon River, I love you I do, Cheek to cheek, The nearness of you, Mas Que Nada'. Recorded at the Ladywood Leisure Centre the CD is a testament of the endeavours of a community band, recorded and produced by band members
